Who We Serve

At Spectrum Learning Center, we are dedicated to providing a specialized and supportive educational environment for students with unique learning needs. We serve children with autism, developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome, and other learning differences who require individualized instruction and a structured approach to education. We accept students from 4-17.

Our program is designed to include life skills students who need comprehensive support in both academics and daily living activities. We emphasize foundational life skills that promote independence and confidence, including:

• Potty Training – Teaching and reinforcing restroom independence through structured routines and positive reinforcement.

• Feeding Support – Encouraging self-feeding skills, addressing texture sensitivities, and promoting healthy eating habits.

• Social Skills Development – Helping students navigate peer interactions, build communication skills, and develop meaningful relationships.

• Self-Care – Teaching students essential skills such as handwashing, dressing, and personal hygiene to promote independence in the home and the classroom.

• Individualized Academic Support – Providing instruction in reading, math, science, handwriting and communication at a pace tailored to each student’s abilities while still challenging students academically.

As a private and selective school, we ensure our environment is safe, structured, and supportive. While we welcome students with a variety of learning needs, we do not accept students with aggressive behaviors, as our focus is on fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all.
